1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of morrisongroup.ca and any content, forms, tools, or materials made available through it. By using this website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
These terms apply to your use of the website. They do not replace the written retainer agreement that governs any professional services we provide to you as a client. Where a signed retainer agreement and these terms conflict, the retainer agreement prevails in respect of those services.
2. Who we are
This website is operated by Morrison Immigration Corporation, a company incorporated in British Columbia, Canada. Immigration advice and representation are provided by Ted IP, a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC-IRB), licence number R706946, in good standing with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC).
Under section 91 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, only lawyers, notaries of the Chambre des notaires du Québec, and immigration consultants licensed by the College may represent or advise a person for a fee in connection with a Canadian immigration proceeding or application. You can verify our licence on the College’s public register at college-ic.ca.
3. The information on this site is general information, not advice
Everything published on this website — program descriptions, articles, guides, FAQs, videos, and media commentary — is general information for advertising and educational purposes only. It is not immigration advice, it is not legal advice, and it is not a recommendation to take or refrain from taking any action in your own situation.
Immigration programs, eligibility criteria, processing times, fees, and selection thresholds change frequently and often without notice. Information on this site is accurate to the best of our knowledge as at the date of publication and may be out of date when you read it. Always confirm current requirements with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, the relevant provincial authority, or a licensed representative before acting.
4. No professional relationship is created by using this site
Reading this website, downloading a guide, submitting an assessment form, or exchanging preliminary messages with us does not make you our client and does not create a consultant-client relationship.
A professional relationship begins only when both of the following have happened: we have confirmed in writing that we are able to act for you, and a written retainer agreement has been signed by both parties. Until then, we are not acting for you, we are not responsible for your deadlines, and you should not rely on anything we have said as advice on which to act.
5. No guarantee of outcome
Decisions on immigration applications are made by government authorities exercising their own discretion. They are not made by us and are not within our control.
We do not guarantee that any application will be approved, that any particular processing time will be met, or that any specific immigration outcome will be achieved. Any assessment, estimate, or opinion we give about your prospects is a professional judgment based on the information available at the time and on the rules then in force. It is not a promise of a result. We are professionally prohibited from guaranteeing outcomes, and you should treat any representative who offers such a guarantee with caution.
6. Free assessments
Our free assessment is a preliminary screening only. It is based entirely on the information you choose to give us, which we do not independently verify at that stage, and it is limited in depth. It is not a full eligibility assessment, and a positive preliminary response does not mean an application will succeed. We may decline to take on any matter, and we are not obliged to give reasons.
7. Your responsibilities
You agree that:
- the information you give us is true, accurate, and complete, including matters you may prefer not to disclose such as previous refusals, removals, misrepresentation findings, criminal history, or medical conditions;
- you will tell us promptly if your circumstances change while we are assisting you;
- you will respond to requests for documents and instructions within the time we specify; and
- you will not use this site or our services for any unlawful purpose.
Providing false or incomplete information to a Canadian immigration authority can result in a finding of misrepresentation under section 40 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, refusal of the application, and a bar on entering Canada. We cannot be responsible for consequences arising from information you gave us that was untrue, incomplete, or withheld.
8. Fees
Professional fees, disbursements, payment schedules, and refund terms are set out in the written retainer agreement for each matter, and not on this website. Government fees are payable to the relevant authority and are separate from our professional fees. Fees quoted in any general material on this site are indicative only and are not an offer.
We neither pay nor accept any fee, commission, or other inducement for the referral of clients.
9. Electronic documents and signatures
We may deliver agreements, invoices, and correspondence electronically, and we may ask you to sign documents using our electronic signature system. By signing a document electronically you agree that your electronic signature has the same legal effect as a handwritten one, and that the audit record generated at the time of signing may be relied on as evidence of your agreement. If you would prefer to sign on paper, tell us and we will arrange it.
10. Intellectual property
All content on this website — text, guides, articles, graphics, logos, video, and the arrangement of it — is owned by or licensed to Morrison Immigration Corporation and is protected by copyright and trade-mark law. You may view, download, and print material for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not republish, redistribute, translate, adapt, or use any of it for commercial purposes, including training or fine-tuning machine learning models, without our prior written permission.
11. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use automated means to scrape, harvest, or copy the site or its contents in bulk;
- submit false information, impersonate another person, or misuse our forms;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its underlying systems; or
- use the site in a way that damages it or interferes with anyone else’s use of it.
12. Third-party links and content
This site links to government and third-party websites for your convenience. We do not control them, we are not responsible for their content or accuracy, and a link is not an endorsement. Government sources are authoritative on their own programs; where our summary and an official source differ, the official source governs.
13. Communications
Messages sent to us through this website, email, or a messaging platform are not confidential until a retainer agreement is in place, and message delivery cannot be guaranteed. Do not send us sensitive documents through a messaging app unless we have asked you to. Time-critical matters should not be communicated by web form alone — telephone us to confirm receipt.
14. Privacy
Our handling of personal information, including storage of certain information outside Canada, is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
15. Availability of the site
We provide this website on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, and we may change, suspend, or withdraw any part of it at any time without notice.
16. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Morrison Immigration Corporation is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website or its content, including lost opportunity, missed deadlines, or costs incurred in reliance on general information published here.
This section limits our liability in respect of the website only. It does not limit, exclude, or affect our professional obligations or liability to a client under a signed retainer agreement, which are governed by that agreement, by the rules of the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants, and by law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
17. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of British Columbia have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights available to you in your own place of residence.
18. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date above shows when they last changed, and your continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
19. Contact and complaints

If you have a concern about our service, please raise it with us first so we can address it.
